That looks great. I love your red interior. I need to get the top off on mine sometime, but the old owner had lost the tool. I'll have to go pick one up. And the inside of my hood looks good, but I still need to do a lot of work on the engine bay.
You can see some of the engine in this pic, it obviously still needs lots of work. I've got to head back to work though, so I won't be able to do anymore till Tuesday night. It was raining all day today so I got the interior vacuumed and the other wheel well finished. This pic is from before finishing the inside of the hood, but I haven't had a chance to clean the engine anymore since it was taken.
I actually really enjoy detailing this stuff. I just throw the radio on, grab a couple beers and go to work. (No, I don't ever drive after drinking)

Yea, having the top of is great, although I still haven't found that annoyong little rattle that only shows it's ugly little face when the top is off! I've tried every trick in the book so far, so for now I just turn up the stereo and try to stay off the bumpy roads! I'm going to get either one of those anti flex bars or x-cross members or both next year for it.
Thanks guys, I'll be able to get around to more stuff tomorrow night. First I really need to find a couple places to have the emissions changed and the coolant flushed.

Well I've got an appointment to have the coolant flushed and changed this weekend. I also ordered a set of drilled and slotted rotors that should be here in a few days to replace the warped ones.
Did they say how much the coolant flush will be? I'd like to get slotted rotors too, maybe when these brakes need changed again!
I'm taking it to the dealership recommended by the local corvette club who specialize in 'vettes. They quoted me $130. Right now it has yellowish-green coolant and I know it is supposed to be changed to the red stuff.
I only ordered the front rotors, and mine takes the bigger ones because of the J55 package. Right now in the parts for sale section there is a company offering deals to forum members. I got the front two for $90 with free shipping.
Thanks, I've got new rotors coming in the mail, I need to get a new cup holder cover door, and then to get the stitching repaired in my seat. Then she'll be all done for now.
Yea, that's what you think! Don't put your wallet away for now!
I guess I should say I'm hoping that's all for now. I need to find some local corvette guys to go cruise with now. Wonder if anyone is in the Denver area.
