QUOTE=RLG;1581533453]the light is coming on because it doesn't see the data stream from the Bose radio. Until you install the resistors it will never go out. You will be pulling the radio back out to install them.
but the lack of resistors may not be the only reason your light is coming on.[/QUOTE]
Here's the info I was sent, keep in mind I had mine professionally done.
Resistor connection:
First resistor: One end connects to the purple/white, the other end to the keyed 12v.
The second resistor connects to the gray/black, the other end to the keyed 12v.
Follow this TSB for installation of the resistors that are required with a radio change. I had my parts for 6 months before I had time to install them & forgot about installing the resistors. The ATC immediately quit working.

You can leave the tuner in place if you want to.
The original antenna lead will fit/reach.
There is a good ground source behind the glove box. 10mm socket size.
At the tuner you will need the connectors with:
Orange wire = hot all the time, radio memory/clock.
Pink wire = power antenna.
White wire = Hot in run & acc.
Finding the circuit the TSB refers to for the resistor power hook up was puzzling. I tied them to the keyed white wire, all is well.
