Headlight sensor
What is involved in disconnecting headlight sensor so the lights aren't popping up? Each year as fall approaches in Nova Scotia, long shadows cause the headlights to pop up. Then, back into bright sunlight and headlights retract. A bit annoying but still fun to drive.

I'm going by my 1990. You have to pull up the little round plastic disk right above the speedometer of which there will be two wires. You need to put a resistor in parallel between the wires. I can't remember off hand the ohm rating you need, but if I can't find it here, I have one at home and will post later.
