A real class act
I met Keith, (who owns 1st Rate Corvette) at a Tire Kingdom in St. Petersburg. He took care all the paper work and then my tires were mounted on my new wheels.
After I left the Tire Kingdom I could not get much over 60mph until I got on I-75 northbound. At 70 there was quite a bit of vibration that was not there on the trip down. Since I was over half way home, I e-mailed Keith about my problem. He suggested I take it to a local Tire Kingdom and have them rebalanced. He agreed that there was either a balance problem or a wheel out of round. Which he said he would make right, if that was the case.
The trip to the Leesburg Tire Kingdom was an adventure. First they did not want anything to do with the job since I hadn't bought the wheels from them. They denied any record of 1st Rate Corvette. Which is bunk, I know for fact that they are in their system. Anyway they finally agreed to rebalance the tires. When I left they were worse than before.
I called Keith and he set me up with Wheel Tek in Tampa. Upon my arrival they advised that several of the wheel nuts were loose, (it had been 79 miles since my visit to Tire Kingdom).
In an about an hour the Wheel Tek boys gave me my car back, said Keith had covered every thing and all I owed them was handshake and a smile. The vibration is gone. My heart felt thanks to Keith and 1st Rate Corvette, and to Wheel Tek, who fixed others mistakes without a question.
I endorse both 1st Rate Corvette and Wheel Tek as class acts, and Keith as man who does exactly what he says he will do.
