Ocasionally my interior dome lights blink as if a door was open. I believe the prob might be with the driver side door switch any suggestions and advice on removing door panel.
You don't need to remove the door panel to inspect/replace/repair the switch.
The switch is held on with two screws that go into an oval nut plate inside the door that surrounds the switch cable. If you take out both screws the nut plate will fall down the switch cable and be very difficult to retrieve. The trick is to loosen the bottom screw, take out the top screw, then put the top screw in the nut plate but not through the switch. Then you can remove the bottom screw. After that you can pull the switch out through the hole. There's plenty of slack in the cable.
My recollection is that the connector is smaller than the hole, so you can even replace the switch without taking the door panel off.
