Car (91, automatic) felt like I was driving over rumble strips when it shifted. Adjusted TV cable and it’s much better, But shifting into first or second feels rather aggressive, kind of a lurch like when you put your foot to the floor from a dead stop. Is this normal or do I need to do another adjust on the TV cable?
Thanks

not normal for my 91. hard to know what is happening from a description -is it hard acelleration or "normal" driving? shifting into first? you mean coming to a stop, I guess..
I assume you adjusted cable from advice from the forum or a manual. it isn't self-explanatory.
wouldn't hurt to adjust it again. but if you noticed a difference, you probably did it correctly. not sure you can adjust out of a hard shift problem. I believe the TV cable controls shift points only.

You are correct.. If the cable has been adjusted and it stll shifts hard its more then the cable adjustment...WW
The TV cable controls line pressure. The purpose is to raise the pressure at wider throttle openings to keep the friction surfaces from slipping when the engine is making more torque. Slipping means heat and they will burn if the TV cable is not adjusted correctly.
As for "feeling" the shifts, that's normal. This is a Corvette. It's a sports car, not a Cadillac (as I like to say...).
