I thought it would be kinda cool if everyone could just post a time when they felt good/awesome in their C4 for everyone else to see. Could be a race, car show, red light rev.. anything, just tell!
On the very day I bought my car on the way home I got a wave from a guy in a really nice C6 ZO6. It just made me feel good to know that I'm now in the corvette family.
on a first date- 20 years ago, racing a mustang GT (old Fox body) from a stop light. I knew the guy- he was the owner of the exaust shop I got my mufflers at, he was my age, about 22 at the time. My date started yelling stop at first and when she saw the other driver had a hot blonde in the car as well, she started screaming go, go go !! lol- that was a good night.
March 28, 1990. Pull up to the dealership, and parked out in front, glistening in the bright sun, is my brand new Red on Red Coupe. Must have put on like 100 miles that day.

I always feel good when i'm out and about with the C4. But just this year while i was getting gas, this guy in a newer Mercedes getting gas also, comes over to my vette and says...beautiful car. He was really taken back by it and couldn't believe it was a '96.
Nicest feeling in a C4 is a sunny day, fairly warm but not too hot. A weather where one feels comfortable driving with the windows down, full tank of gas and car just detailed. I feel like I can drive my C4 forever in this situation.
August 21, 2011-Elkhart Lake, Wisc.- Road America, Corvette World Tribute. Our LT4 --Drove 84 miles on the track. Discovered the limits of my driving and the limits of this car! Perfect weather, thousands of other Corvettes. As close to Heaven as I'll ever get!
My best memory is probably driving it home from Colorado in 2010 when I bought it. My LT4 with 32 or 33k miles on it.
When I took it for a test drive the first woman we passed yelled "awesome car!". I bought it, then the next morning I took an 18 hour drive to bring it home. Just me alone with the car I had wanted since I was a kid. It performed flawlessly. I made no real mapping plans to get home. I set the GPS and just pointed the car in the right direction.
It was funny to see me miss an exit and then the gps recalculate sending me through an entirely different state. Sooner or later I'd like to take about a week off of work and just hop in the car and go. No plans, just hit the road.

One of the guys at the NASA event there last fall really said it well, "Racing nirvana in a heavenly setting!".
Hard to pick favorites, but one comes to mind, tho it wasn't my car specifically.
Standing among a hoard of C5/6 fans in the bleachers at a local Corvette Shootout. One of our group's C4s lines up against a C5. Someone said, "Oh, look! A C4 is lining up with (so and so). This should be good!" 11.43 seconds later joy turned to astonishment as Pete's ZR-1 blew through the traps. "Holy sh*t!" It was Priceless!!
