chasing water leak
My 92 coupe has just developed a leak on the right side that is pretty bad.
We have seemed to be able to track it as coming around the right door at the front. The weather stripping is new (GM) and just replaced the wind laces. The only common thing is that there was no leak before I replaced the rotting wind laces with brand new ones. I took them off and reinstalled them. There seemed to be a larger gap between the A-pillar trim and the windshield outer seal. After reinstalling the gap is smaller, but still doesn't seem as tight as before the replacement.
Anyone have any suggestions. Also, I did trim the part of the wind lace where it goes under the A-pillar trim, (hight wise), and the gap is smaller still. I just don't want to get to crazy with trimming.
