ebc red stuff brake pads
Anyone have any experience with these pads. They are advertised as
ceramic and "the lowest amount of dust of any" Not an exact quote.
With 300 miles on the pads, my wheels, calipers and everything else in there are COVERED in dust.
I think it's false advertisement by EBC and DUST is not covered under warranty.
Any comments?

You will get dust from every pad out there it's just that ceramic puts out less at least mine do. But when I put the track rotors and pads back on they will be blacked out within a few miles.

Used to be the "Red Stuff" EBC pads were for track use only. I had a set of Green Stuff pads and they didn't last much more than 18 months.
There are lots of very good ceramic pads out there and most all will outperform EBC pads. Look at Hawk ceramics, Carbotech, Raybestos, Centric, and even AC Delco.
My 02 has AC Delco ceramics and dust hardly ever shows up in normal street use. Even for an occasional autocross event, there is not a lot of dust.
