Back on the Road
After nearly three weeks I have my Vette back on the road. My clutch went bye, bye on me. It sat for a week then off to the shop. Then sat there in pieces waiting for parts to come in. The first clutch kit (from Zoom) arrived damaged and had to be sent back. Then I ordered a Spec Stage 2 and now it's back together and working smoother and better than ever.
But...my headlight motors are gone and with fall approaching I can only drive in daylight hours, which are getting shorter and shorter. I have the parts, though, and hopefully I'll get the new gears installed this weekend. Yesterday I actually went to work late just so it could be light enough to drive the Vette.
The opportunity for top down motoring in Minnesota is nearing the end for the season so I have to get those drives in while I can!
