Default Air Conditioning Problem

You folks were a great help with my 91 door panel question, so I'm hoping you can help with an AC problem. The compressor will not run and I have checked both the low pressure and high pressure switches and have found I have no power to either. I suspected a fuse, but they are all OK. What should I check next?
Thanks,

I am pretty sure the 91 has the same large low pressure side pressure switch on the large pipe to fan box as the early models, if your gas charge is low below 25 or 30 psi i think it will stop the a/c compressor so it doesn't get damaged. You can pull the large black connector of and put a piece of wire in it for a test to see if the compressor turns on.

It might be the Clutch relay. On a 90 it is located behind the knee pad under the steering wheel. Check and see if you are getting 12 volts past the relay.

Just out of curiosity, check the wire at your starter. It is the small wire connected with the large wire to the battery. It has a fusible link. Thats where the AC module gets its main power. I found that out by having to change out my starter the day before yesterday.
