zr1
there's only a few people to port these cars, one is Marc Haibeck in chicago, he also does tunes...really good ones. have one in my car, love it.
there's also a few guys in the chicago area who do it too, they'll be on the registry forum.
Corey Henderson is in the San Antonio area
Aaron Scott at south georgia corvette does it also.
none of them are cheap

Congrats on your ZR-1!!!!

ls6 and t56 etc and I am sure that the Zr1 in stock trim is going to make a fool out of it. It really feels good to finally have one. owning a c4 zr1 has always been top of the list for me.

ZR-1's from GUS Paulos chevrolet, man I loved that showroom. What do you guys think about supercharged LT5's I see the dyno video's but no runs. Looks like they make great numbers .

The stock LT5 is very under developed, and will produce huge gobs of added power with relatively simple porting.
And, you don't have to do everything at once either. You can do it in steps, as budget allows from stock 375-405 hp to nearly 700 and still have near stock idle and can be a DD too!
Porting the plenum and the IHs can be a DIY project. Or, for about $2k you can have it done. With trasition porting into the top of the heads, a chip, and headers and free flowing exhaust, 400 RWHP is in reach!
Add head porting and a set of intake cams that have been strategically timed for performance, the TB opened up to 63mm, another tune and you could be looking at 450 AT THE WHEELS and still have a car that idles like a stocker - from a stock bottom 350!!
And, theres a specialist that build TT LT5s for some rediculous power, and some that stroke and sleeve for a 10.x second N/A 441 cubic inch monster...Not bad from a 350 block, huh?
The Registry has a number of specialists that do various mods, have parts, do porting...a fantastic organization and group support.
Join the Registry and contact Marc Haibeck, Pete, Corry or Aron - all do premier LT5 work. From mild to wild, it can be done in steps or all at once. The more you have done at once, the less expensive over all (less labor to remove and install the motor, or modify chips for incremental HP changes, etc.
Stock (open deck) LT5 block

Open deck 441 LT5 block

Closed deck 427 LT5 block

My suggestion would be to get used to what you have. In the mean time, learn all you can about the options before jumping in. You're in for a completely different driving experience!
