fuel pump sending unit
Hello everyone, I need a little knowledge. I have an 87 vette that has been sitting for two years. I put a new battery in it and it only turned over and would not start. I couldn't hear the fuel pump kick in and had no pressure at the fuel rail. I replaced the fuel filter and then got no fuel coming out of line when turning the key on. I have pulled the sending unit and fuel punp. Pumped out old gas in tank. I have a unit from an 89 with ahs a 4 prone plug. I was told it would work and just to spice my plug onto it. Is this correct. Thanks for your help
