hardtop question
HI. WITH THE HARDTOP ON A C4 CONVERTIBLE THERE IS A GAP BETWEEN THE END OF THE LID WHERE THE CONVERTIBLE TOP GOES UNDER AND THE REAR PORTION OF THE CAR. WHEN I LOOK IN THIS GAP I CAN SEE THE CONVERTIBLE TOP FOLDED. MY QUESTION IS WOULDN'T IT GET RUINED IF IT RAINED. I FIGURE IF I CAN SEE IT THE RAIN WILL GET TO IT. THANKS FOR THE HELP!

i have no idea what you are describing. i have a c4 with a hard top and it seals tight. you have something missing or the wrong top. send me a picture and i can tell you what you need.

If you are describing the gap just underneath the rear window and the deck when you first put the hardtop on, pull the soft top release lever. The hardtop screws are sitting on top of the latch leaving a gap between the hardtop and the top of the deck. Hope this is what you are describing. If on correctly the hardtop fits as snugly as the soft top.

THE GAP I AM TALKING ABOUT IS AT THE BACK OF THE DECKLID, BEHIND THE HARDTOP. SORRY FOR THE CONFUSION. ALSO THE HARDTOP I BOUGHT IS A FACTORY GM BUT I HAVE A SLIGHT GAP AT THE PASSENGER WINDOW. ANY SUGGESTIONS ON THE EASIEST WAY TO FIX IT?
