Yeah just wanted to know what exhaust system would give me the best performance and sound, and what prices would I be looking at? I have heard Corsas exhaust and it sounds good from the rear but you can't hear that deep rumbling!
If you want power you need a straight through system. That's why I bought Magnaflow mufflers. This was custom work but it's way cheaper this route. Each muffler is around $80.
Go to my site below for a cutaway pic.
This muffler has a very low toned sound. I can set off alarms by starting my car. I'm redoing my pipes so hopefully I can get a sound clip up.
From the cars I heard at the Cruise-In I think the B&B Triflo has the deeper rumble. Some people have complained about resonance wth the B&B system but I think they have really reduced the resonance with the newer system because the car I rode in (vettewrench.com car) had no noticable resonance. I also rode in a Lingenfelter ZR-1 that had some resonance but with 600hp, no cats and no resonantors that would be expected :yesnod: If you want/like the deeper, big block sound I suggest the B&B or the flowmaster.
I love the sound of my flowmasters. I had a friend with a borla system and it just didn't sound mean enough in my opinion. I only wish that the flowmasters were stainless instead of aluminized.
