Drive side window problem
My driver side window worked perfectly, before it stopped going and up and down. If I flick the switch, the interior lights dim a little. This happened to me a while back, but it fixed itself the next day. Any ideas on what is causing the window from working?

Usually the window winder motor gets a bad contact from the plug that connects to the motor, the wiring loom is a bit tight and pulls it off to one side. Opening the door and slamming it while pressing the window motor down or up button will make it work for days, weeks or months or years. If you notice the light dimming there may be a jam as the previous poster said and you will need a new motor or regulator assy.

Take the time make a project out of it. Replace the window guides, Maybe the inner and outer door felts etc. Take care of as much as you can and can afford while you are there so you finsh a good job in one. GC

Suggust buying the motor so you have it on hand. Nothings worse than openeing up the panel and not having the parts. Your car is almost 20 years old chances are its never been replaced which you will rapidly determine if it has pop rivits that have to be drilled out to pull the old motor.
