Hey guys... I have a dumb question I know and I hope you guys don't get bothered by it like in past posts about this topic...... I have a saddle interior, I was wondering if anyone has any feedback on putting red floor and cargo mats in it. Found a good deal on them. Will this look dumb? Or will it break up the saddle interior n look good? ThAnks

depends on the exterior color. i would think it the exterior is red, it may not look too bad. if the exterior is green - bad. personally, i wouldn't do it, but hey, it's your car.

I too have a red exterior, with saddle interior. I put black mats in mine - front and back. Breaks up the saddle and more consistent with the interior color scheme.
Yeah I'm thinking I'll just get them and if they look too rediculous I'll sell them. Such a goud deal on eBay. With shipping it came to about 50 bucks for front two and rear cargo mat. All with the corvette logo. I'm hoping it will look ok. I just don't have 200 to spend on new saddle ones.
I bought a set through Mid America for just a little over $100 for all three pieces. They aren't the quality of LLoyds but still pretty good. I didn't want any graphics and just wanted something to break up the all red interior. These are black which goes with some of the interior color and trimmed in red so it was just the right look and price.

Hey, was wondering which set you got from mid america? I just checked them out and I saw the front two mats plus cargo mat combo for 50 bucks.... are these the ones you got?
They are called Bound Floor & Cargo Mats 1984-1996.
The fronts are $49.99 & the rear is $49.99.
These aren't the quality of LLoyds but more like factory.

Ahh yes those are actually pretty cool. I was looking at the cheaper ones I guess. Prob not as nice. So with a saddle interior I should get black with saddle bound? Is that kind of what u did but red because of your red int? Ty!

Yes thats what I did along with covering the front speaker covers with black cloth made for this type application and it gives a much better balance of color on the interior.

I ordered these mats, thanks for the help, they seem like pretty cool mats and like you said, the black will break up the "saddleness"
