I'm at my wits end with the stock brackets. I went with aftermarket heads and have been grinding the brackets to fit. I'd like to do aftermarket brackets, but retaining power steering and a/c. Does anyone make a kit?

What kind of heads did you go with? I have never heard of or had this problem before. L98 or LT1?
Its an L98. I bought the car and it had some iron "captain bars" heads on it. Went to ProComp 190 runner angle plug heads. They were on the shelf already and get them at cost.
Power steering bracket hits the water pump, did some grinding on water pump and bracket- still doesn't fit. I feel any more grinding will weaken the bracket and possibly break a few months of driving.

I bought Pro Toplines about 10 years ago. Had to slot the bottom hole on the PS bracket a lot but they worked. On the AC side, I had to leave the big torx bolt out. Neither had been a problem and this is a daily driver.
the mounting hole on head closest to water pump outlet on driver side is too close to pump.
I'm grinding bracket to fit, other two bolts won't line up without it(1 head, 1 block).
the slot for the block bolt has to be done, not worried about that one.
