"Faster than yours" is how I refer to it when people ask me.
Actually, I don't have a name for it. I don't even call it a Corvette when I'm talking with people about what we each drive. I like to be subtle, so I just call it a "Chevy coupe."
"Garfield". Has to do with it acting like a sassy cat, not size. Also have a Garfield stuffed toy with suction cups that is attached on the inside of the hatch glass.
Actually I can't stand it when people refer to my car as a 'Vette' especially if they don't own one. The name on the car is Corvette. My first car was the other Chevrolet 'Vette' and I used to call it my vette, because that was what it was, a Chevette. 1986 two tone gray four door with an auto transmission. That little car was a freakin tank, saved my life in it one day I was in a head on collision with a Ford Festiva at about 50 mph and I walked away from it.
The first day when we bought it, the wife wanted to name it "Cory), asking if thats what most yanks ( she is Austrailian) call theirs. HECK no was my response..to both questions.
