Im about to buy a complete 95 lt1. Its been sitting for a few years though. Its complete and looks really clean with low miles. But since its been sitting for so long, will I run into any running problems?
Also, how many o2 sensors does a 95 use and where are they located?
Go ahead and figure a fuel pump, fuel filter, tank cleaning and atleast a brake bleed with new fluid. If it is an auto, needs a new filter, and drain and fill. Don't do a flush, it can push bad stuff into places it shouldn't be.
I'm going through this right now as well with a 94 that sat up 8 years. Good luck with her.

Its been sitting since 09. I figured new fluids.. and an updated fuel pump and filters in case they settled in. So that should be it? Thanks.
Check for damaged wires. I have pest damage on my 94. Should be ok, I would do the rubber hoses, line and belt. Even if it hadn't been sitting for 4 years, its 17 years old. Better safe than sorry.
check for dry rot on the tires...best of luck with your project. BTW...I am an over the road Semi driver..been on vacation this past week...as reguards to your PM to me...going back out on the road in about an hour..cant do anything about the PM. Thanks for the offer tho.
Definately all the fluids, oil, tranny, radiator, brake, differential, gas!
Don't overlook the tires either, they may have flat spots from sitting that long!
Was it stored inside or out?
Pictures?
Not the whole car.. i wish. Its a complete engine. Engine, trans, harness, computer, and all accessories. Ready to go in, just hoping itll start right up.
Oh, I thought you were looking at the whole car, but if it is just the engine, try to turn it by hand to make sure its not locked up. If the seller will let you pull the plugs, pull them and make sure the engine turns nice and free, with no catches or rough hard to turn spots in the stroke. Good luck with it.
Bought a 93 with the original tires and 39K on it two years ago. Replaced all the fluids, put on some new tires and that was it. 5K happy miles later I've only replaced the oil and filter. Suspects that results vary wildly but I took a "do the basics" approach and it worked for me.
mine was sitting for 6 years and to get it running wasn't much just cleaned out the tank and changed the fuel filter and pump. but i had to change the fluids, hoses, tires ect my wiring was perfect but that's just lucky me. your looking at close or over a $1000, the biggest chunk of that is going to be the tires and tune up.
