1995 vert. Was in a flood. The shocks had almost no resistance left to them. So on take off the rear would squat pretty good.
Well low and behold after getting some good belstiens on there it squats less and also spins the tires more easily.
What do you guys do?
Ya it sat in 3 ft of water. It looks the same as when I got it.
I resealed all the joints repainted the floor ect. Ony thing that wasent replaced was the suspension/differential. I held out for 6 months and got a great engine/trans.http://i261.photobucket.com/albums/i...lenema/lt1.jpg
very nice! did you order the engine offline or were you able to get it locally?? will the old engine turn over by hand? were you able to order all new carpeting?
on the shocks question, i would replace the shocks with a new set of Bilstein shock absorbers. when teh shocks go bad they will cause squat and uneven handling.
on the shocks question, i would replace the shocks with a new set of Einstein shock absorbers. when teh shocks go bad they will cause squat and uneven handling.
yes I think I will have the alignment adjusted for more contact while squatting.
