Default corvette production time

Did some small research just for fun.

corvette c1. production from 1953 to 1962 (9 years production)
corvette c2. production from 1963 to 1967 (4 years production)
corvette c3. production from 1968 to 1982 (14 years production)
corvette c4. production from 1984 to 1996 (12 years production)
corvette c5. production from 1997 to 2004 (7 years production)
corvette c6. production from 2005 to 2013 (8 years productions)

what can you make out from this production time period

Taking a stab at it.

That all models except C2 had longer production runs than the newer C5 and C6 models did, making them more popular. This is something the C5 and C6 guys won’t want to hear.

(It’s all good, as all Corvettes are GM’s children. Learn to love thy brother and sister, no mater what model they drive.)

Other than that, it was kind of pointless, really.

It kind of makes me wonder where all the aftermarket support went for C4 performance parts....Flywheels, headers & no-drone exhaust systems, afforadable wheel bearings, distributors that will actually live for a while etc.

although the C-1 was produced 1953 thru 1962,,,the body styles varied wildly, unlike the rest of the story. Well, maybe not wildly, but you know. 63 thru 7 all look alike, excepting the SW coupe.. 68 thru 77, a little bit of chrome missing...c-4..tail lights...I still cant tell the differance in the C-5 and 6 years.
