I got my tune from pcmforless yesterday. Figured out how it's supposed to install after trying to figure out the useless instructions and called them.
I drove about 10 miles to a client yesterday and then drove home. Today I drove from my home to my girlfriends and stopped at McDonalds on the way. Came out and NO START. Pulled the tune and it fired right up.
After I finished work I tried again and same results - so the pcmforless module died in a little more than 24 hours and about 40 miles of driving. Not very happy at this point, but I'm waiting for them to respond in the AM.

I think what you really need to do is take your car to a performance shop with an actual dyno and get a professional tune. This is the only way to get the most out of your upgrades in my opinion.

Alvin is a good guy with a good reputation. He tuned my tow vehicle. He'll take care of you.

You did something wrong. PCM for Less tunes have been great. Are you sure you answered all their questions correctly? All numbers match your new engine?
The only thing stock in my 96 is the block, and it is 0.030 over. All others are not LT4 at all, and The Ghost fired up on the first attempt.

Make sure the OEM chip is fully seated in the adapter and the adapter is fully seated in the ECM. The Adapter is not held by the tabs in ECM like the stock chip was. I had mine come loose once and the car ran like crap, spitting fuel out the tailpipes and stalled under load. Pushed the adapter back in and all was good.

Yeah, I'm thinking it needs a firm piece of foam to help hold it in place.
