Would someone be so kind as to email me pix of both seats in an 87 roadster? I am going to have mine redone and I think the PO put the wrong style sport seat covers in it. The tops of the seatback sides (is that confusing enough?) are not closed and you can see the foam bigtime, plus there is some sort of U channel clip holding the sides of the seats to the backrest plastic frame. All the other vette I've seen have closed-up seats that just lock into frame.
Thanks,
bill, you have im. i've got a few pics for you, but not sure how many you can take on your e-mail. this is cool, i just learned how to do this stuff! :D
Chucks88,
I love those floor mats, and just wish they would stay in place better. I have them and want to know how to make them stop moving?, the original velcow doesn't seem to work.
I just realized how filthy the interior is on that second photo. That was taken while I was changing my intake gaskets and had the windows down for about two weeks in the garage.
My velcro was still in good shape when I dropped these Llyods in. I never thought about it before but you clean out the hooks and loops (velcro)
The velcro on my hockey equipment picks up all kinds of dust bunnies and threads and has to be cleaned out periodically.
THANKS TO ALL YOU GUYS for the Pix. The ones where I could see the front side of the seat and the sides of the backrest appear to have openings in the top portionn of the seatback just below the headrest but, a couple of others seem to have no openings and just snap into the frames? Any additional Pix will be appreciated.
Thanks,
Bill
