speaker issues

just replaced my factory Delco/Bose with a Kenwood reciever, the factory speakers have a whistle sound, if i put after market speakers in do i have to run new speaker wire?

Geez, man - that's exactly MY question. I'm doing the same thing next week and my installer, who is a professional, says the exising wiring will be fine. But I've read a lot of comments that suggest it may not be. I'd sure like some feedback, too!

Existing wiring is fine. Just need to make sure you have a chart of the color-coded wires for making the connections.
