How about the C7's C4-like cockpit and proper seating? I moved to a C5 as a better daily driver but there are many things about the C4 I miss, primarily the interior (that is, once I got in the stinkin' thing).

Awesome...vindicates all the C4 gang who know a good seat when their butt is in it...

Mark my words -- those controversial tail lights (well the whole butt) will in a few years be regarded as the most uniquely Corvette styling touch of the C7 -- and folks will complain if the C8 moves in a different direction....

Maybe, I guess I'll have to see it up close. The way the driver sits reminds me of my '93.

I do like the interior. I wonder what the seats are like. The late C4 interior is best layout/seat wise in my opinion so far. I'll have to see/sit in a C7 to decide if its better. I like all the LED readouts and so forth. The 1984 C4 was 30 years ahead of its time. Take that all you haters of the Digi-Dash. Now its in the NEW Corvette.

93Rubie, I always find myself agreeing with your statements. Go check out the C7 section, they have excellent shots of the interior and exterior.

I like the interior and the IP especially.

Is the driver able to customize the IP displays?

My grandfather's looking to get rid of his C5. He loves my C4 and the way it's set up, but he can't get in and out of it much anymore (he's 67). I think this new C7 might do him well though. It's got plenty of C4-esque things in the car (LT1, cockpit interior, square taillights, etc.)

I like the new car though! I can't wait until I see it in person.
