What did you use to smooth the vinyl into the very small parts like the passenger window switch bezel? I got a squeegee with the kit but I am thinking you won't be able to get into the really tight areas with it. Also, when you were doing the door panels, are their multiple pieces in the door pulls? Seems like that is an awfully deep area to stretch it into.
I am wondering how this stuff would hold up under the hood? The fuel rail covers would look pretty cool wrapped. Don't know how hot they get. The price is low enough I might give it a shot and see how it works.

Honestly, I didn't anything to smooth any of the parts other than my thumbs. The door pull is 2 pieces. I used one piece on the bottom part, then I used a long skinny piece to wrap it the whole way around the walls of it. Then I used the top part. As long as you do the deeper parts first you can't tell, especially if you line up the lines right.
As for the fuel rail covers I dunno. I have the L 98 so I can't really speak for how hot it gets.
Nice work Jybrd, thanks for posting. I'm thinking about wrapping my door sills too. Would a 48x12 sheet per sill be enough and would the 12" width cover the sill completely ?

Just by looking at the picture I would think so. I would think 12" would be more than enough
Could you tell me where to order the carbon fiber. Also do you think it will last on the exterior. I would like to do the halo. Was it hard to install on the exterior?

If you notice 48x 12 doesn't add any price, so thats what i got for $10 with shipping.
It supposed to be for the exterior. It seems pretty durable and I would trust it on the exterior. Especially because theres no real prep, just clean the part clean. It was easy to install, but I don't know what you mean by "do the halo"
Replacing the lettering has kept me from doing mine for the last few years. I've looked and couldn't find any place to buy the lettering so I've decided just redo the parts and not worry about replacing them. I figure I know what all of them do and the interior needs a little sprucing up.
