[Body kit] Any pic of a C5 front on a C4?

Beware!!! you can check a thread I have started showing progress on the subject. When I am done I will give the details about every hitch along the way and the associated costs. My car at its current state has a new engine, new weather stripping, and new paint with body kit. Next will be the interior, cluster, and back to the engine. I probably could have searched and found a low end C5 for what I will have in it, but when done my car will for all intense purposes, be a new car. These kit has a horrible fit.
Don't do it.

Underneath the surface, it's still an old car.
But, good on ya' for your efforts.
IMHO, if you don't like the looks of the C4 front end, there are aftermarket front ends that look better on the C4 than a C5 piece does.

Wonder if the sharper lines of the C-4 vs. C-5 would cause a mismatch in the look

Good luck with the paint and body work for that price. Does that include all the pop rivets and screws to hold it all together like the bad import kids use because thats what's its going to look like for that price

For a long time Senior CF member, you sure don't act like one.
To kiwi1... I'm sorry for all the negative posts for your simple question. Your opinion is all that really matters in the end!

I don't know what a C5 cover would look like. As you stated before, there might be a bit of a clash between the sharp angular C4 and the rounded edges of the C5. In the pic that PLRX put up of the ACP front end (yellow C5) if something like that were available for a C4, that might be cool. Anyway, good luck with whatever you choose. Remember it's your car, your money, and what you like that counts. Enjoy

IMO Mixing the design cues from two different generations is like trying to mix oil and water...But it's your car. Have fun with it.

I was leaving a parking garage the other day and passed one of these. I had to stop, park and get out and go look at it, I wasnt aware of what it was, but I knew it began life at least as a C4. Up close and personal, it didnt really look that bad but I preferred the look of my 96 over it. Definite attention getter tho... I didnt know they made a kit for this.
