Just wondering how may end their posts with a 'thanking' post after member responses or just leave it be?? :)

When I ask for advise, or buy and sell parts, I try to update the thread with a thank you or feedback about the person I dealt with.

There has been several times I have inquired about a part to find out that it was sold months ago.

"Do unto others" IMHO.

Same here, I usually give a "TIA" in the inquiring post.

Personally, I don't like the TIA thing....I try to go back and say something periodically in the post. A little more personal that way I think, and people feel more appreciated. Just my preference! :p:

There are also several people who's opinion is REALLY valueable to me so I usually take the time to email them a special thanks now and then to let them know they're appreciated :)

I wish people would thank each other, it's very rude to answer a post and never see another response.

Get some manners people.

Use email notification, that way you know someone has responded and you also get a link so you don't have to go looking for it.

I try to at least give a general Thank You follow up post in the threads I start if I haven't specifically already thanked people. :) ~Juliet

LOL all this thanking's makin me sick. People all nice and s***. LOL j/k. Seriously though..........everybody's cool up here. Just try and thank each other as normal on the forums. No need to go azz crazy bout it. If someone forgets to thank another, don't worry bout it...........u should know you're part of the crew up here anyway and everyone's input is welcome here and appreciated by all I'm sure. Anyone intersted in vettes that is. Heh I guess that wouldn't apply for just generally any hershey squirt that shows up in the forums. Anyway, as for me....let it be known I appreciate the input of just about every single one of you. I answer alot..........but I read about 60-80% of the posts that I never respond to anyway. I learn from each and every one of you. Though I try and thank all that have been extremely helpful with extra prompt. TIA never hurts. So THANKS to YOU ALL. Oh and by the way................."TIA" should be "THANKS IN ADDITION". Not thanks in advance. Think about it. :) :D

Speaking for myself, I don't need any thanks. I am just gald to help my fellow Corvette enthusiasts. I try to thank all those that have helped me along the way. And if I missed anyone, please excuse me! Thank You!

a little kindness and thoughtfulness goes a long way to making this world a better place.......
