help vette wont start

I have a 91 and i started it a few weeks ago and she was fine... i charged the battery and now when i hit the key the dome lights go out hvac blower stops and nothing ... flick the key back dome lights and blower come back on... i had the starter replaced like 1000 miles ago... any idea on where to start looking?

it sounds like a dead battery. check the voltage in the battery using a multimeter and see what voltage its currently holding. i would then have the battery tested at a local parts store for a bad cell.

Thanks will do that tomorrow... maybe try jumping it also... The battery is less then a year old but they dont last like they used to.

they sure don't. batteries usually last a year or two for the cheap ones. the battery in my 94 is a Napa brand and its gone dead once since i put it in last August.
