9 owners??
ok guys i am in Montreal, and i am about to buy my dream car, a 1988 corvette. The dealer told me it had 2 owners and now i just found out it had 9 owners, they 're asking 8500.00 cad dollar and it has only 111 000 km. Waht do you think? Is 9 owners a lot for a 1988? i m kind a scare rignt now?

Even if it did have 9 owners, that's probably not a deal breaker. Is the car in good shape?

If my memory is holding up ok the 96 I bought from Brandt showed 4 owners on Carfax when I bought it. It was purchased new by a guy whose wife refused to ride in it due to the convertible noise. He took it right back to the dealer and bought a coupe. Brandt went into the dealer to order a 97 and the dealer turned him on to this 96 LT4 vert.
Brandt kept it a few years then sold it to his dad (paper transaction only) then bought it back (on paper only). So other than the original owner's 1 week of ownership it was owned and driven only by Brandt. After 1 year he bought it back from me (as we had agreed) and then kept it a few years. So at that time it was showing 6 owners. He explained it all to the new owner who bought it in 2012. You would have thought it was still new by its condition.
So, as said above - condition and maintenance should be the determining factor. Don't wait till Spring finally gets here as the prices will jump up.

I have a freind who bought a 2006 ZO6 three years ago. That car had three buyers but; no registration. The car only had 3k miles on it but; all three buyers used dealer plates. The only way he knew that was beacuse he was told. So, actually he is the first owner with a title.

the car actually looklike brand new, it is amazing, even have the original book in its leather case look like new, but i have to put 4 new tires and i have to change 1 muffler, how much do you think this will cost for the muffler?

Offer him $7,500! That will almost cover the 4 new tires and mufflers!
