Sitting at a light waiting to make a left today, I saw a very nice C5 ragtop in oncoming traffic. Should I wave? Is that geeky? No need to wonder. As I made my left, I looked over and started to raise a hand- only to see him raise one first. Save the wave, indeed.
I have been waving since my first corvette in the late 60's some people wave some don't.
Sometimes I miss a wave but not very often, the waves that confuse the other corvette drivers are when I'm in my truck or miata, but I can excuse them for that.
Was on a short cruise with a Corvette club going out for breakfast... and passed 3 other Corvettes each at different times - waves are the norm and recommended.

Please keep the wave alive, and Save the Wave.
And find myself waving at other Vettes when in my other truck, too.

I'm like the poster bob guzzy and have been waving since my first vette in the 60's too. Of course I've been snubbed also.
It's usually the later models corvette drivers that snub me though.
I think well maybe they just haven't figured the wave thing out yet or they're new to the corvette world.
When I get snubbed, I just pass it off to the fact he/she didn't see me. When people are in their cars its like they are in their own little world, NOTHING exists beyond the drivers seat other than the person directly in front of them. Hell, I was a volunteer firefighter, people don't even see big red fire trucks with lights flashing and sirens wailing! LOL
Since moving down south i always wave, but when i lived in NY it was a wave but with 4 less fingers
.....On the Beverly Hillbillys movie(not the series) they called that the "California Howdy"....,,But seriously I'll wave, and if they intentionally choose not to wave back, then that's their problem, not mine.
