Default Mirror question

My rear view mirror is always moving on my '91. I can't see anyway to tighten it up.

Any ideas?

From a 2010 CF post:

I have had this issue on several cars...DO NOT GLUE!!! The simple fix is to use a small amount of loctite (I used red) on the ball. Work the mirror around to get the loctite inside. If yours is really loose, you might have to do another couple of drops. The loctite will still allow you to move the mirror if you want, and not wiggle when you dont. I have had 100% perfect results using this method. (author: c5blkvetteguy)

I was thinking about putting something like that in there. I'll try it tomorrow, Thanks!

That's what I used on mine, with great results.
I used blue since that is what I had in the garage.

I did something similar with a thin dab of JB weld. I sanded it lightly to get it round and the mirror was again holding like new. I like the loctite idea, easier and cleaner.
