Default Spoilers

Count me in too. I would like both front and rear. How does the rear spoiler attach?

I would be in for the rear wing! Is it just me or have we come full circle and its the eighties again. People are wearing skinny jeans we think rear wings are cool again and the aids epidemic is on the decline and the economy is making a come back women are as frisky as they were in the eighties not that I was old enough to get a piece in the 80's. all we need now is for our pay checks to take a jump like they did in the 80's.

So American Hydocorbon, looks like you have some business if you choose to produce them. I'd like a front and rear please!
Does anybody out there have these parts that would be willing to send them so we can copy them. That way the donor car would get the first set in Carbon Fiber for free.

Good lord that spoiler looks gorgeous, exactly what I'm looking for for the rear of my 89.

That being said, that price tag? Scary. Even mid america offers cheaper

I second this recommendation for American to make us an American Knock Off

Default Team Work will get this done!!

Good Day HydroCarbon, and everyone in the cheering section

What is Hydo's estimated price tag for one front, one rear, and both? So we, the buyers, can commit on this. It is my belief that once we, starter few, start showing up at Corvette Events/Car shows you might get busy. Here’s hoping.

I’m not the expert, but what about the fit from 84 thru 96, we are not all alike. Hydo; what can we or you do to ensure your success in meeting our expectations on fit and finish?

Next, to all the buyers: We need to get our hands on a set so that Hydo can copy them. If there is no one out there willing to remove and ship theirs to Hydo for coping we are screwed.

My offer/idea, I am willing to purchase the front spoiler from Italy, have it shipped to Hydo for coping.
Someone else step up, purchase the rear spoiler from Italy and ship it to Hydo. For our efforts we receive a full set #1, #2 for free. Everyone else can buy theirs from Hydo.

I believe that in go faith Hydo needs strong commitments to buy to make this whole thing worthwhile, after all he is a business, not a charity case. So, if you are committed, PM HydoCarbon with your wishes, ie...front or rear or both. If you are a fence sitter, please do not PM Hydo, only strong committed buyers!! We will all give this two weeks to see where our numbers are. If Hydo agrees two produce two free sets, to the two volunteers (Boxcar being one), and is ready to go. We volunteers will pull the trigger and order our parts from Italy.

So, let’s spread this to all our C4 Buddies and make this happen. If your friends are not Forum members use your e-mail, club links and so forth. We may not need two weeks, as soon as Hydo says he has the comment he needs and is ready, and we have one more volunteer, let go.

Gentlemen…..start your…..wait for it…..wait for it…..engines!!!

And if you think ole Boxcar is crazy….well you might be right.

I think out of all the spoilers I've seen, this front and rear are the nicest around. They are different and fresh. They would look great on my 85 black coupe
The question, and time will tell is cost. Of course.
I am interested

Default Lookin Good for the home team

OK all you spoiler buyers,

I got word (PM) from Hydro, and will call him 12April, to hear what he has to say and what he needs. It looks very good that we, Team Spolier, are going to get this done. for everyone.

I have PMed Polo92 and leaned him forward to order his part, and I too am set once I speak with Hydro.

Hydro, we are in need of prices if possible we may hook a few more.

All, Hydro asked if I was going to spear head this and I agreed, so if you got direct questions send me a PM.

Default Spoiler pics...

I have committed to Boxcar and Polo to move forward and create these in carbon fiber!

This spoiler will be offered in Carbon Fiber, Fiberglass and Painted.

I have a similar one on my C5 and it is attached with 2" industrial strength velcro. You can push the car with it.

I have a similar one on my C5.

I tested the velcro at 120, 130 and 140 mph. This thing will never come off unless you want to take it off and then you better have help to pull it.
