Default I'm Back!!!

Well, after a long winter, and even longer repair process, entirely my fault (!), I gave her a quick test drive today. So far, so good!! I, with the help of my retired mechanic neighbor, who was invaluable in the process, along with a good old service manual, have actually got everything back together with only a couple of extra parts left over!! Purchased heads from forum member Bob Thomas (tip of the hat), had them redone at the local machine shop, and in they went! The head gaskets were toast (nice pool of coolant in one piston) and were replaced. New injector's from Jon, new plugs, fluids, etc. Finally got enough nerve to drive it on the street, and it's like new. I'll put it back in the garage due to the heavy sand/salt combo still on the roads here in good old New England, but it seems like all is well. Thanks for all the tips, from removing the front wheels to save my back to reviewing old threads to attempt to gain some knowledge, which I certainly did!! Now, I have the seats out for some refinishing on the seat backs, the dash out for the same, and hopefully, by spring..........

OH, you are still waiting for spring? I forgot about that. I grew up in Mass.
