people touch your car. I can't stand it. They will come up and put their hands all over it leaving fingerprints all over it and some have the nerve to lean on it. My father in law started rubbing the dirt off of a scratch in the paint asking me what it was. I was like what does it look like now stop trying to make it worse. But I couldn't say anything to him. I find myself getting very stressed anytime anybody touches or leans on my car. When I tell them to get off they think I'm ****. I am.
I don't worry too much about the paint, I'm constantly filling chips, buffing scratches, etc, anyway. No problem, I feex.
I do have a buddy who's managed to sit on his azz in front of the TV until his legs are incapable of lifting him. Every time he gets out of my car, he hoists himself out by the a-pillar and leaves big greasy fingerprints all over the windsheild. :mad

What I hate is when I'm miles away from home and my rear wheel locks up cause my bearing is shot. Oh and with a black car I get real mad when people don't know how to get in and out. You have door handles why do they want to grab the top of the door? How can they find a new spot every time?
Was at a friends house for a gathering some girl i was talking to stuck her beer on the hood of my car she was cute so i tried not to flip out i just said "Let me grab this for ya" :mad :mad
I have an 18 month old daughter who loves the vette. When its in the garage she walks up to the door and smacks her hand against it (this means she wants in to play with the buttons). I have all these little handprints on the door.

But I am not afraid to tell the person NOT to do so. I'm going mad! Our driveway was done tuesday and the car has been outside. Birds are having their way with it! :mad
Regarding TOUCHING the paint, I do not touch anyone's car......I know they wouldn't want me to..so I expect them NOT to touch mine. Nothing is worse too than when it's all clean for a show, and someone comes up with a big old hand print"WOW THIS IS SMOOTH, WHAT KINDA WAX DO YOU USE" GRRRRRRR :mad
It's best to come out and just ask them nicely not to do it. I just explain to them how much I value the paint. 9 times out of 10, they understand where I am coming from. $8000 paint jobs don't come easy.

Re: Do you get mad when..... (mayberry)
I asked the person that maybe touching my car or leaning on it "Is that your car?" NO. "Then get the *u*k off of it - If you can not stand up w/o help, EMS will take you to the hospital." There was one time that this broke out into a fight at Englishtown in NJ in the staging lanes. The guy told me that he owned a Benz. I asked him where it was parked so I could leave my autograph. Well, After a few people pulling me off of him. I have never seen him at the track again.
