Yes.
What happens when you hold down the door button for several seconds without the key in the ignition? If nothing, try the battery in the fob. Then if still nothing, follow the training procedure in the manual exactly. It took me three tries to get the passive keyless light to come on steady during training until I got the sequence right for moving the fob in and out of range. It's easier if you have someone with you to move out of range and then back while you're sitting in the seat. If you don't have an owner's manual, you can download one free from gmpartshouse.com. Normally, holding down the door button with no key in the ignition turns off or on the passive door unlock function. There is no door unlock button for the driver's door. That button only unlocks the passenger door, as I found out from this forum. With the key in the ignition, the door button turns off/on a choice of both doors, or just the driver's door for passive unlock. It's all in the manual once you get it. The other possibility is that the fob is bad.

The PKE module under the dash pad was bad on mine, everything works as intended now. Bought a second FOB and it too works. THe whole job of replacing the PKE module took me all of hour and 1/2.
I stopped by the local Chevy dealer to have them check things out. Dead battery in the Fob. so I ordered new battery (they did not have that battery in stock) So I should have it working tomorrow. Thanks for the help guys.
Mike.
