I have a 1990 convertible that I am restoring. Under hood fire casued significant wire damage. Any ideas on where I can get the complete under hood harness (computer looks OK).
Also, the engine and trans have 130k, so do I replace or have rebuilt? This is a 1/25 built in boling green with active suspension, so I don't know if matching numbers is important for future collectability or not. Thoughts.
If your oil pressures good, and your not burning oil,I would leave the motor alone..If your transmission is working perfectally I wouldn't touch it either......If in aint broke, dont fix it.
I used to build a few burn cars. Salvage? No collectability, Non-salvage probably not with a burn history. Why did it burn? Insurance payoff? Just about any harness will work for a doner if you want to solder wires, but there should be a few 90's in yards around the country. If you solder, butt solder and heat shrink ALL repairs. It's actually fairly easy if you can read a road map (my wife can't seem to) Make sure that you space the repairs out over the harness, or you will have a big lump! As far as the engine/trans fix the wires first, then decide. Both are very good units to rebuild if necessary, one or both may be all right.

Active Suspension????, I trust you mean the FX3 option, in which case 1 of 25 no way.
