Rim question
sorry for the newb question guys. here goes looking for tires and rims on my 96 CE. I want something with a little meaner stance. my question is will 17x11 be too wide on all four corners?

You can use 11 inch rims at all 4 corners. Some people have up to 315 in all wheels. 295's will fit nicely. Check the width of the specific tire you want to use though, they are not all equal in width. I have 315's in rear and 285's in front GY F1 D3S and I think the 315's will rub in the frnt. I have yet to try them though. There are several other 315's that are narrower.

If you had gone with same size front and rear you could rotate them. That's the main idea of using same size wheels. Any chance you can change the purchase?

Yes, 285's will fit in front with no rubbing. I am running 285/40/17 Goodyear F1 D3S in front, which are some of the widest 285's and they do not rub. Like I said, some members are running 315's at all 4 corners. I have yet to try my 315 rears in the front, but they are very wide. 285's in 9'5 inch rims will fit perfectly.
