is this weather boot worth the price or should i just go with a rubber vette matt?
also who here uses sill covers? how do they look and rather then adding to how sexy your interior looks does it do anything?
or should i just skip these for now and fix the weather stripping
?

I have both, and they are worth it if your carpet is mint and you want to keep them that way.
The door sill covers are really useful. You do not realize how many times you brush onto the door sills until you have the protectors on and knock them out with your feet. I drilled a couple of holes to hold them with the carpet screws.
As far as the carpet boots, there are also some contoured mats that do the same as the carpet boots but look better since they match the carpet.

I think the contoured carpet mats look very nice and do not take too much space on the sides. You can barely see them. The carpet boots are ok, but do move a bit under your feet. I just did jot like the look of plastic over my pretty ruby red carpet. If your carpet is not near mint and your intention is to make it look better, you might be better off finding good, used carpet sets on the auction site and do a little carpet revamp in the car. It will go a long way towards getting better looks. You might just find the sections you need and spend less money.
