NAPA would be my choice too. In my area NAPA is cheaper on a lot of things than any of the other chains.

I got a 89 and my starter motor just took a dump , need to replace in a hurry. my question is, what is the best starter I can get on the fly without ordering and waiting on one? advanced auto? auto zone?

I would try Bennett Auto Parts, if it isn't in stock, they have it in couple hours. Plus they sell OEM parts.

thanks bud....I live in new jersey and when I looked them up there only in florida... problem is, I need a starter today, my car starter died in a parking lot so I got to replace it and get it outta there....thanks though!!!!

thanks guys...the reason I didn't wanna go with advance or autozone is that they are Chinese replacement parts...I have read a lot of problems with that online....
anyway, I ended up scoring one from south jersey auto supply, they brought it from pa to jersey in 2 and half hours!!! for only $117.... and its American!!!!
