Difference in body styles

I guess my eye isn't as good as the rest of you on here, but what is the difference in the style of the body on the C4s? I'm guessing there IS one, I just don't see it.
I have am 89 and for some reason it looks the same as the rest if them. Lol
Can someone tell me what I'm missing?

A couple of things easy to catch are the front fender gills and the body moulding strip that goes around the car. Prior to 91 the strips were black and after were body color. The gills on the 90 and back were vertical and after horizontal and smaller. Also the wheels changed to pinwheels in 91. Go to ebay and search 90 and then search 91 and you can see the differences.

also---the rear end on the pre-'91's are flat----rounded '91-'96---slight changes on the front end as well

I see it as 84-89 Flattened front and rear with round taillights, 91-96 rounded ends with square lights.

But you already have the best year

The driving/turn/fog lights were restyled after 1990 as well.

Top picture PERFECTION in a C4 to me. Love that squared off rear end and round tail lights. I own a 88 so i'm biased of course.
