Need new ideas.....
After I found a big crack in one of the cylinders of the LS-1 engine, that I was going to rebuild to be buck wild. I am running out of ideas on what to do for a project. I am trying to do something that isn't done too often. Ideas anybody???? :confused: :confused: :seeya

LS1 blocks aren't as expensive as many people think... seem them on ebay pretty cheap. I assume yours is repairable (?) and with aluminum blocks you can easily bore and resleeve. The iron liners are replaceable considering this is exactly what they do when converting an LS1, normally 346ci, to 427 cubes... :)
I know TracerX has done the conversion... and Nate (Xtreme Motorsports owner) has tempted me to do the same thing with an 02 LS1 that just got yanked from his 02 vert :crazy: :D
