C4 spinners

C4 spinners
Has anyone put the spinner insert on the early C4 stock wheels that Corvette central offers. How do they look on the car and how much work in involved in putting them on.

Not for me but they seem to look ok on the 84-87 wheels. Now this pic at Bloomington Gold in '05 shows them on a 1990. They look trashy to me. Dude could at least have polished the rims first:

Why would anyone put "knock-off" hub caps on a car that:
1. never had 'em
2. doesn't/can't use that style of wheel retention
3. CLEARLY has 5 LUG NUTS holding the wheel on?
If you want knock offs, go buy a 60's Jag/Austin/Triumph etc. Cars now days use lug nuts.
My opinion? Cheesy. Lame. dumb.
