Default Hard To Remove Drivers Side Valve Cover?

Re: 1994 Corvette LT1

I can't seem to get my "drivers" side valve cover off! There's not
enough clearance because of the AC & Alternator bracket! Is it necessary
to pivot the bracket out of the way. Also, will these units remain in place (not budge) when the bracket is "pivoted" & up out of the way? Advice needed ASAP. A Big Thank you!

It's been a while, but I think I had to remove the bracket.
The passenger side cover is tricky too, but it does come off without removing anything.

When I did my 89 L98, I had to move the AC out of the way. I actually put a hook in the ceiling of the garage and ran a strap down to the AC unit to keep it out of the way after disconnecting the bracket. The AC unit is on the passenger side but I needed to move it. The alternator is on the driver's side on my 89 and one of the bolts had to be backed way out to clear the valve cover. Getting them back on was more of a challenge than getting them off the engine. Hope this helps.

Thanks, but I'm pretty sure the '94 LT1 is a little different.

It is for sure but I also have a 93 LT1. I haven't had to do the valve covers but the same type of problems can come up. The strap to the ceiling was a big help so I didn't have to disconnect any AC lines etc. It kept the compressor out of the way.

On my 95 I remove the alternator and have the room to remove the valve cover
but I'm running headers and may have removed one of the support brackets. Either way its no big deal.
