Default Question for Convertible Owners

Anyone have a solution to the problem of the C4 convertible top deck lid material flapping in the wind when the top is up and windows are down? The material is the light colored fabric in the photo below. The two elastic cords that secure the material to the convertible top side frame are useless.

I considered using velcro to secure the material to the deck lid. Only problem is the velcro pads would be visible when the top is down. Any suggestions?

Mine came loose also , I used those twisty ties that come on a loaf of bread to reattach it in the back. I think it did this in the front also, it's been like 3 years so I forget.

I've got the same problem, and it's a little annoying sometimes.

I'm thinking of getting elastic straps that have the clips on the ends and attach them to the the vanity cover, then loop them under the deck lid attach the other ends there. Before retracting the top they can be easily removed.

Something along the lines of this:

I did the Bubba fix. I gathered up the slack elastic (each side) and then put a safety pin through the folded up elastic. You can't see the pins, and it costs nothing to try.

I used to ride top up windows down on decent days but it slowly wears out the top faster. It flaps in the wind more and the window is starting to come apart a little. So now its top up windows up ac on or top down. (Im sure it doesn't add too much wear and tear to the top but i'm weird about my car)

Nice idea. Reminds of glove clips for little kids.
