i would first start looking at the clutch hydraulics as the culprit. check the clutch master and slave cylinders for leakage and inspect the clutch hose for leakage as well. just like air in your braking system will cause a soft pedal, so will air or lack of fluid in a hydraulic clutch system.
The cap is under the computer remove the 3 10mm bolts and just move the computer out of your way.
You will find your fluid all nasty and black most likely.
I use a large enema syringe to suck out the fluid, clean out the container carefully get as much black stuff out of it as you can.
Then refill with new dot 4 brake fluid and hope you corrected your problem, if the problem persists you may be in for a hydraulics change or an new clutch.
Thanks Guys, issue repaired. It was low on fluid so i topped it up and it works perfect again. When i bring my car for maintenance next week i will look for leaks and the condition of the hoses.
