I have never heard of one. Thats doesnt mean there isnt one.
I think the problem is, the C 4 design, the Targa top is a structual memeber.
It is actually needed to stiffen the struture. Story is the C 4 was to have a T bar set up like the C 3, and at the last minute, a high up GM offical wanted the entire roof to come off. To compromise, the engineers had to go bolt on, with a stiff metal frame, to keep the structure from shaking. Which it does anyway, but, it is much worse when the top is off. Try going over Rail Road tracks, boy does it twist.
Sure you don't mean a quick release product for the rear hatch, not the targa roof?
If so, they work fine, raises the hatch about 2 inches, less wind turbulence in cabin.
Has anyone ever considered/built/seen a quick release hatch for the C4? I could potentially go all summer long with neither one.
There was available in the past from Ecklers and MAD ,a item where you removed the hatch completely and replaced it with a cover that had a vertical plastic window
so the rear was like a pickup bed with a cover or a vert with a rollbar ; say a Vet-Camino
FWIW ,
I consider the stock hatch too heavy/bulky to be removing on a regular (quick release ) basis , unless you have an aftermarket plexi glass one
