I put a blue tint top on my polo green '95. In the sun, you can't really tell the difference. You will probably notice the same results with the one you are looking at.

They look darn near black from the outside. You can't tell the blue ones are blue except from the inside.

They only came in two tints, blue and bronze.
And from the outside looking in, they both look black.

Factory tops from 1989 - 1996 have the same mounting brackets.

Check your top and check a couple of things, 1. is there a three sided "steel" molding that is a pressure fit on the front and both sides. The molding is one piece. 2. Center of the rear edge maybe 1 1/2" from the edge there is likely a manufacturer "bug" visible only from the outside. What does that "bug" say?

The fit '90 - '92 isn't an issue.

Just "maybe" there will be a portion of the VIN displayed on the front of the left rail on the top. Here's one from a '96:

That might look familiar to "RollaMo-LT4"

the difference will be in the FRONT alignment hardware, not the rear hardware. I put a 91 top on my 86, had to change out stuff.

The top brackets were different between an '86 and '91.
The OP has a '92, and they use the same mounting as the '90 top that he is looking at.

I suggest you look through both tops from the inside out. The sky just didn't look right with the bronze tint, the blue looks a lot better to me.

Make sure you do because if not you can easily overlook the crazing of the tops regardless of color. Check the exterior for the protective coating showing signs of deteriorating, scratches and mars and minor cracks at edges that will become major before you maybe even get it home. Check the frame for cracks also.
