Clean engine = happy engine

I have most of the front of the engine removed so I decided to take advantage of free use of a Honda gas-powered power washer to hit the nastiness that I found.
Before:
Covered up the important parts:
3,000 psi ! And no - there is no optispark to worry about. 91 L98.
Now I can see where the remote thermostat will be mounted on the front crossmember:
Wow - I can see the rubber fuel lines. Look pretty good after 22 years:
Now on to installing the new water pump, remote thermostat, plugs, wires, hooking up the coolant lines, under drive pulleys, converting my sensors to the Lt1 components, adapting the fuel lines, installing the new distributor, remote coil and air pump eliminator. I know there will be problems putting this all together but that's why they call it "FUN IN THE GARAGE".
I bought the converted intake from David Frederick here and he has been a great help so far.
Unfortunately I am behind in working on this as we are still repairing the damage from the spring flood that destroyed my downstairs. That is coming together too.
Won't be driving the Vette to Bloomington Gold this year. Even if it comes together ok I won't trust it on a 6 hour drive each way until I get some road time with it.
